IGG gives MPs 10 days to declare their wealth or lose seats

The inspector general of government (IGG) has written to the speaker of parliament giving me members of parliament up to 31 August to declare their wealth.
The parliamentarians declare their wealth to the IGG in respect to the leadership code which requires public servants to declare their wealth every year.
IGG Irene Mulyagonja Kakooza notified Speaker Rebecca Kadaga that only 20 MPs had fulfilled the leadership requirement from the 10th parliament.
Ken Lukyamuzi a former MP for Lubaga South was once ejected from parliament over failure to meet this requirement.
