President Yoweri Museveni has called up on all the Ugandan youth to effectively comprehend their goals while struggling to attain success, prosperity and social transformation.

He asserted so while talking to a huge crowd that gathered in the main hall of Makerere University main building, Makerere during the annual launch of the Nelson Mandela commemorative lecture on Thursday.

He also pointed out that the youth should fully construe their struggles in their efforts to ensure prosperity of Uganda and Africa at large.

” I have come prepared such that the youth know their struggles”, remarked Museveni while talking to a crowd which was comprised of various dignitaries, commissioners and ambassadors.

Among the invited dignitaries was Ms Zoleka Mandela, the grand daughter to the South Africa apartheid icon the late Nelson Mandela and her major task was to highlight the key note address of the ceremony which was dubbed “Nelson Mandela the legend. Lessons to the youth”

Professor Mahmood Mamdhani, the director of the social institute of research at Makerere University presided over the major deliberations of the ceremony where he tasked the youth to borrow a leaf from the late Nelson Mandela to ensure the social transformation of their country and Africa at large.
