Embattled Ruhinda county MP Donozio Kahonda has been granted bail by Jinja High Court.
Kahonda, a retired army captain was last month sentenced to nine months imprisonment to Kirinya prison over forgery and uttering of false documents and on Wednesday, while appearing at Luweero chief magistrates court, he was slapped with fresh charges that he used false academic papers to enroll for a bachelor’s degree of Guidance and counseling from Ndejje University.
He will be appearing before court on the 30th of every month.
