Early this week there was drama when Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) law enforcement officers were arresting a civil engineer who illegally stepped in an area covered with KCCA grass commonly known as ‘the green belt’.
Swazi Mukuye a resident of Gayaza was on Tuesday arrested at Jinja Road in Kampala while walking on the green grass.
Yesterday morning Mukuye appeared before Grade One Magistrate Moses Nabende and he pleaded guilty prompting the judge to fine him shs40,000 and in default serve 20 days imprisonment at Luzira prison.
