A number of foreign players have awakened to the potential in exhibitions ahead of the main Uganda manufacturers” international trade show which is four months away.
The latest is the Dubai- Asia international expo at the UMA show grounds in Kampala, which is for the foreign companies from all around Asia and Dubai exhibiting their products in the Ugandan market.
Fasil Ahmed the organizer of the Dubai -Asia expo said that the turn up of people was very good and people are learning and getting to know products from Asia and also shopping.
“We have exhibitors from Dubai, India, Pakistan, Kenya, China and Uganda,” Ahmed said.
Ahmed added that they have all house hold equipments like carpets, vases, furniture, kitchen ware, clothes jewellery and many other products.
“The good thing is we have got the opportunity to let people know about other products from different countries which are of good quality,” He further stated.
