Uganda Police’s Chief Political Commissar AIGP Asan Kasingye together with a team of senior officers have embarked on a sensitization campaign against Covid-19 in Busoga Sub regions.
On Monday, the team met with unit commanders from Namayingo and Mayuge districts.
In his message, AIGP Kasingye urged the officers to be cautious of Covid-19 and ensure there’s total adherence to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the Presidential directives and the Ministry of Health.
He also tasked them to use community policing approach so as to enhance coordination and partnership between the police and members of the public.
AIGP Kasingye and team are on a one week rectification and ideological orientation tour in the region.
