Uganda Police Deputy Spokesperson Polly Namaye has dismissed claims that she was resigning from the force because of Bobi Wine arrest.
Following the arrest of presidential candidate Bobi Wine, real name Robert Kyagulanyi on Wednesday, some unscrupulous people using a parody Twitter Account- @bnamaye1 alleged that Namaye was resigning from her job because of the militarization of the force.
If what is going on in our nation keeps this way, I AM RESIGNING FROM POLICE!!!

However, through her official twitter handle, the police deputy mouthpiece said the tweets were fake and she was not planning to resign at the moment.
Hehehehee….Look at these fakers. Now that their propaganda has failed they are trying to force us to resign through fake twitter accounts. What a shame! Some piece of advice though: UPF remains strong with or without your fake allegations. We are #ProudlyUPF @PoliceUg pic.twitter.com/hsZkpSF2Dm
