For the third week in a row, another bettor has scooped 88 million from Fortebet.

From the Kyegegwa winner (500m) to the Kireka winner (83m), here is another winner, Ronald Akena-a taxi driver, this time from Adjuman.

His ticket (number 2923362167901362), that was placed from Fortebet centre was in a way unusual. With his only 2000/=, it would be hard to think that he could win as big as 88 million. To him, the trick was simple; selecting betting options of Full Time (FT)+Goals U/O. In this type of option, the bettor will be predicting a given match’s full time result and the goals this match will see.

Out of the 15 matches that he included on his betting ticket, 7 of them had this option. Most amazingly, all the 7 selections had odd 2, 3 and a 4.80 (he predicted an away win for West Ham over Watford plus atleast 3 goals. It ended 1:3).

The other betting selections were comprised of overs of 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 plus one Yes of both teams to score (between Norwich and Chelsea).

With a cumulative odd of 51,981.17 and his 2000/=, this bettor harvested 88,368,000/= from Fortebet.

While receiving his money at Fortebet head office in Kololo, Akena said, “I am going to buy a polot of land and build my house. Secondly, I am going to buy my own taxi. I am now going to be my own boss.”

In his message, Akena said, “This is not the first time I am winning. I won before 700,000/= and 500,000/=. Betting I just by chance you just need to keep tying but with simple monies.”
