Thank you, Mama Janet Museveni!
For coming out openly with a forgiving heart towards Dr Stella Nyanzi, we profoundly thank First Lady Janet Museveni for exhibiting patience, long-suffering, courage and wisdom. Forgiveness is a true reflection of spiritual wisdom, innocence, strong and sound character. It’s a true sacred mark of leadership and distinguished servanthood. Forgiveness is heroic, not weakness. A virtue of humility. Casting away anger, rage, bitterness and revenge is not only to have the mind of Christ, but live in absolute peace and love.
Real men and women are the ones who forgive their enemies, as the Good Book commands us to pray for our enemies, bless those who persecute us, and share food with our tormentors as by so doing we shall heap hot coals on their heads! This is not easy, though. Not when you are dealing with an “intellectual” as damned as Dr Stella Nyanzi!
Dr Stella Nyanzi, a gender and sexuality expert, and self-styled social activist, with no apology, has made it her lucrative occupation to trade vulgarities and monstrous insults largely directed at the persons of the First Family. The academic hides behind the façade of fighting against social injustice to swirl well-choreographed non-charitable epithets against the Fountain of Honour. Ordinarily, this kind of lexicon would attract a seditious charge, according to our law books, if anyone were to drag the sexually obsessed researcher to courts of law.
Given her enviable academic accolades, the vile and base language employed by Dr Nyanzi would only reduce her to downstream intellectual sewers, a high table of intellectualism without morality.
Granted. The good doctor of philosophy raises pertinent issues in her charges against the powers that be, but this is no best modus operandi. You can agree to disagree without becoming absolutely disagreeable.
Secondly, those who are calling for a dialogue between Dr Stella Nyanzi and the First Family are missing the point. There is no reward in dialoguing with somebody whose conduct and actions would make it clear that she needs to see a psychiatrist! For a woman who is consummated with such foul language, not even jail could help her but spiritual exorcism! Right?
