In his message, Col. Katabazi advised student leaders to promote strict discipline as a guiding tool in mobilizing fellow youths into embracing social transformation within society.

“We cannot transform this country without discipline and the involvement of young people in social transformation. It’s the duty of the student leaders to understand the societal problems and innovate to offer transformative solutions through education,” Col. Katabazi said.

Katabazi further tasked student leaders across the country to use their powers to guide fellow learners against engaging in violent strikes, saying it is destructive to school property and can ruin their futures.

He underscored the urgent need for students to advise their parents to wisely spend the parish development model cash that they receive by investing in money-making ventures.
