Gashumba to Bobi wine: “Don’t Start War Against Bavandimwe! You Wont Succeed”

By Aggrey Buluba

Frank Gashumba, a well-known activist and an elder of Muhoozi’s PLU, has launched an epic tirade against Bobi Wine and his National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters. Taking to his X handle, Gashumba unleashed a storm of fiery words, issuing a stern warning against what he calls the “hate-mongering” towards the Banyarwanda community in Uganda.

Never one to shy away from controversy, Gashumba turned up the heat with his trademark motormouth style. In a series of no holds barred posts, he labeled Bobi Wine and his followers as “losers and lumpens,” accusing them of spreading unfounded hatred against the Banyarwanda, a group he proudly belongs to and staunchly defends. But he didn’t stop there; Gashumba threw down the warnings, daring anyone to provoke a war against the Banyarwanda. His message was crystal clear: “You won’t like the repercussions.”

With the confidence of a general rallying his troops, Gashumba boasted that the Banyarwanda are an “insurmountable race,” dismissing their critics as “cowards” like “Mr. Kadingo, Sabafere wa struggle,” a thinly veiled jab at Bobi Wine himself. “We are not here to play games,” Gashumba seemed to say, “we are many, we are everywhere, and we are 100% Ugandan.” Omwana ono!!!!

And just when you thought things couldn’t get any spicier, then boom! Gashumba dropped a plot twist straight out of a spy thriller: Bino bigenda kunyumira wabula! “We even have spies planted amongst you!” He claimed, with a mischievous grin only visible in his words. Who are these undercover operatives? obuuza ki? None other than Barbie Itungo, Bobi Wine’s wife, and Nubian Li’s wife. Naye banangeeeeeeee!! According to him, they are “bavandimwe” and comrades in arms of the Banyarwanda cause. He warned ominously, “We won’t start a war, but if you do, we will bring it right to your bed!” Ahaaaa, Gashumba! Omutonzi wafe yaasalawo!!

This explosive outburst comes hot on the heels of a dramatic incident involving Bobi Wine, who grabbed headlines following a shooting in Bulindo just days ago. As the charismatic singer turned politician continues to dominate the news cycle with his relentless quest for the presidency, Gashumba has emerged as one of his most vocal opponents, openly challenging Wine’s narrative and calling him out at every turn. Naye nga lwaki omubanda abba show?

In the grand theatre of Ugandan politics, Gashumba’s latest rant is sure to stir the pot even further. The big question now is: Will Bobi Wine respond to this audacious call-out, or will he rise above and stay focused on his presidential dreams? Akabina ku dongo, amaaso ku watchdog!!
