Kampala City Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has mourned fellow lawyer David Mayinja Tebusweke who died on Saturday.
In his eulogy message, Lukwago said he will always treasure the journey he has travelled with Mayinja as a professional colleague who made tremendous contribution towards the development of his law firm-Lukwago and Co Advocates.
“Sleep well comrade Tebusweke Mayinja. Will always treasure the journey we’ve travelled together as a professional colleague who made tremendous contribution to the development of Lukwago and Co Advocates, comrade in the struggle and personal friend. We shall miss you dearly. Kitalo nyo,”Lukwago said on Sunday.
Mayinja, the owner of Tebusweke and Co Advocates allegedly succumbed to Covid-19 yesterday after spending some days in Intensive Care Unit at one of the city hospitals.
The fallen counsel has also been a politician who had for three times unsuccessfully contested for Mawokota North Parliamentary seat. He lost to Clever Mutuuza, Amelia Kyambadde and recently to NUP’s Hilary Kiyaga alias Hilderman.
