On Wednesday August 22 at 10am, Kenya’s Civil Society organisations are going to do what they have never done before.
Information this website has received indicate that multi-sectoral civil society organisations are meeting at Law Society of Kenya offices located on Gitanga Road in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, to address the media on what they call “brutality against civilians and arrests of political opponents by Ugandan security forces”.
The press conference will run under Hashtags #FreeBobiWIne, #FreeArua33 and #FreeUganda.
After the press conference which is expected to speak about the ongoing political situation in Uganda, there will be a free concert by Kenyan artists in support of #BobiWine and #Arua33, at Pawa254 from 4pm.
However, Kenyans seem to have taken the issue of Bobi Wine a step further, as they have also arranged a protest march on Thursday August 23 at Uhuru Park’s Freedom corner, demanding for Bobi Wine’s freedom.
