Over 50 boxers are set to represent team Uganda in the forth coming East African Community Games.
The male and female lists that contain boxers from various categories was submitted to the office of the Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) from various clubs.
The clubs that submitted include Zebra,Lukanga,UPDF,Kololo high and many more.
Zebra Senyange AKA Mando, a legend in boxing as well as the chairman for Zebra Boxing Club said that his contingent is ready to represent Uganda well.
“I’m proud of my team. I know that they shall be able to win Gold medals for the country” noted Mando.
Eight female boxers including Adyambo Maureen(49)kg from Zebra Boxing club,Nakiberu Mariam 52kg from Lukanga boxing club,Scovia from Zebra,Ainebyona Lora from East Coast,Nakalema Emily of Katwe, Amina Musa,Akelo Susan and Musamether Monica all from UPDF.
The games are scheduled for August 2018.
