Parents and Makerere University fraternity are in shock after learning the sudden death of a one Derrick Karahukayo , a final year student.
Initial report indicates that he collapsed and died while going for a short call while at his home in Rukungiri.
The deceased, a resident of Lumumba hall has been a common figure at the University.
Former Makerere guild president Roy Ssembogga, who was a close friend of the deceased, in a message eulogized stated, “You always told me that I am the best. You further added that we shall go a long way together, but now you have gone buddy…..I am surely going to miss you.”
Karahukayo has been laid to rest today in Nyakagyeme, Kagarama, Rukungiri district.
