Australia-based Ugandan cardiologist Dr Aggrey Kiyingi is once again under a microscope by security operatives after he was once again linked to insecurity in Uganda.

Kiyingi who is head of the shadowy organization called “The Uganda Federal Democratic Organisation” is said to be recruiting elements to destabilize Uganda, according to security sources.

Through his website ugandafdo.com, Kiyingi ask anti-government forces to join him to remove president Museveni’s government.

He writes, “Time Is Running Out. I personally appeal to all who love Uganda to come forward and be counted: it is now or never. This website is for you. Send in articles, views, suggestions, videos, photos, music and anything else that you feel will contribute to the struggle to liberate Uganda from the current dictatorial and murderous regime. Warning: Some videos are really gross and parental care should be taken if watching in front of minors. Finally, financial, material and moral support is needed”.

Security believe that Kiyingi is offering logistical and financial support to the Allied Democratic Forces who are said to run hit squads killing Muslim sheikhs and could have killed Afande Andrew Felix Kaweesi last month.

Previously, it was Jamilu Mukulu acting as the supreme leader of the ADF but security is analyzing links that Kiyingi could have replaced Mukulu in the role.

Watchdog understands that Kiyingi wanted to run for president in the last elections but was prevented by criminal cases against him in Uganda. His file was later cleared. However, police has once again reopened his file. We are watching the developments.
