Uganda National Roads Authority(UNRA) has renovated  Aswa Bridge that connects Lira and Kitgum districts which was destroyed in 2015 to ease the transportation.

Aswa Bridge which had been destroyed by heavy rains had put the people in these districts at a corner that transportation was hard and more especially to the business people who trade in both districts.

Hill Water

UNRA started the renovations to help Ugandans trade using the most effective roads that can’t cause them accidents and in this campaign Aswa bridge has been mended.

UNRA officials say that the work is not yet done but it’s about to be completed successfully very soon.

Many people in Lira and Kitgum are very happy and proud of the UNRA though some say that it’s their fault because they had made  Aswa bridge fragile in  the last attempt.
