Erau’s body taken back home, to be buried on Monday

On Friday, the Assistant Inspector of Police (AIGP), Andrew Felix Kaweesi was shot dead with his body guard Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Mambewa.

There were shot by unidentified assailants as they were heading for work at about 9.30 am this morning. They were killed at Kulambiro, just a few metres from Kaweesi’s home.

Earlier today, police realized the burial program for Kaweesi who will be buried on Tuesday.

Now the bodies of the remaining two have been taken back to their homes and we have learnt that Erau will be buried on Monday in his ancestral village.
