Wakiso Chairperson Matia Lwanga exhibits ‘Kung fu’ skills as he arrests Chinese over illegal sand Mining

Yesterday, residents in Kasanje Sub County evidenced unpaid for drama when Wakiso District Chairperson Matia Lwanga Bwanika displayed ‘kung fu’ skills when he trying to arrest  two Chinese Nationals who had made it a habit to mine sand illegally in the area.

Lwanga Bwanika together with the  district’s  Executive and directorate  of Natural Resources stormed  Lugumba  landing site  in Kasanje   sub county were sand was illegally mined. They passed through a very difficult time to arrest the two men.

A case of illegal sand-mining and assault has been opened up against the two men who work for a Chinese  firm called Only You.They are being detained at Entebbe Police station
