The recently promoted young star to the senior team Allan Okello, was the topic of the day as KCCAFC humiliated the Betway boys.
The game that ended 7-0 left even the fans in a fight with questions that need to be answered.
Here are some of the reasons as to why KCCA FC lacked respect for the Onduparaka BetWay boys.
The play ground
Onduparaka Betway FC is a team which is used at playing on natural grass. When they arrived at Phillip Omondi stadium in Lugogo, they could not do much on a team that trains on an artificial play ground on a daily basis.
The Fans
KCCA FC fans realized that the green boys are not a joke in terms of supporting and cheering to their team. This made them come in large numbers to outcompete their enemies. In the end, they even ended up fighting. It is on this note that the CEO of KCCA FC Mr. Moses Tamale promised that the club shall treat all its fans that got injured on the match day.

This being a son of the soil was a big surprise to the green boys. They never thought he could come on to the play ground and humiliate them the way he did. In fact he was the highlight of the game.
Coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi vs. Mike Mutebi
When you look at the football history of the two coaches before the game, you could just predict the result. Mike Mutebi has all the reasons to defend the title that he won last season. In fact this was his statement after winning the trophy last year.
“For the club, the main target was to recapture the league title from Vipers which did happen.
By far and large, the targets were reasonably achieved but we still have a long way to go.
First of all, we had almost a new team and to most, it was introduction to new ideas, methodology of training and also first time most were playing serious football “says Mike Mutebi
On the side of the bet way coach, having made a draw in the first leg of the league at his home ground the Betway stadium, he was very comfortable that Onduparaka could at least get a point at the Philip Omondi stadium.
The player’s mentality
This is revealed in the way players like Robert Sentongo came up with such a great performance. It had taken Sentongo ages to score another goal ever since he joined KCCA FC in the league since he played his first match.
The Betway boys also respected the ‘Kasasiro boys’. This could just open the eyes of even a blind man. The way they were playing, no passing of the ball, but only tried to help themselves from being blamed as responsible for losing the ball. This made them to just kick away the ball, giving the ‘Kasasiro boys’ enough time to pass and reach the penalty box any time that they wanted.
