For years, faceless government critic Tom Voltaire Okwalinga has been giving President Yoweri Museveni’s government sleepless nights. In short he is a worst nightmare to the state.

Through his Facebook page, TVO has been attacking and  exposing  dirty secrets of several government officials to the public.

Government and some prominent people like city lawyer Fred Muwema have tried tooth and nail to compromise the safety of the anonymous facebooker but to no avail.

Government reached an extent of asking the Facebook management to prevail the true identity of TVO but the responsible authority declined the request.

With all those failed attempts, we have now learnt that TVO’s battlefield (facebook page) is pulled down though not sure whether him (TVO) is the one who has done so in order to restructure, brand it or it has been hacked into by hired IT specialists by the State.

Could Facebook have bowed to government pressure and compromised the safety of TVO?
