Truth be said, 2019 has not been Sheebah Karungi’s year ‘musically’, yes she has released a couple of songs but they have not been good enough to make hits or even keep her on top.
However, the singer has not lost it all this year since she managed to complete her ‘Queendom’ mansion in Munyonyo, and that’s all we can say about the songstress.
And following her fading music career, Team No Sleep diva has now called upon fellow artistes to start taking care of each other because the industry is cruel sometimes.
“To my fellow artistes: we need to start taking care of each other. We can have each other’s back without being friends. This industry can be cruel sometimes and only a fellow artiste would understand. So don’t hesitate to call that one artiste you trust whenever you need help or just to rant,” she noted.
This was an unusual statement from the ‘Swag mama’;she has always been ‘self-centered’ according to reports, it is very rare to find Sheebah involved in any activities with fellow musicians, be it artistes meetings, fundraising campaigns, charity, burial or anything that connects all artistes.
That aside, we all know the musician- friends like Spice Diana and Lydia Jasmine, Ykee Benda and B2C, Kenzo and Cindy among others, but I bet no one can name Sheebah’s closest musician friend, not even those who have collaborations with her succeed in becoming friends with her.
However, given the current trends in the music industry, Sheebah might have realised that ‘No man is an island’, and has come down from her ‘high horse’ to make some friends in the industry.
