Paul Mutabaazi, the 50 something old man who has recently gained the moniker Fresh Daddy has refuted social media gossip that he was head over heels in love with fellow singer Desire Luzinda.
Mutabaazi, recently squeezed himself into the limelight for being singer Fresh Kid’s father and eventually trying his luck at music.
Just recently, news hit the internet that the ‘Mazike’ singer revealed his ‘special’ feelings for the Kitone singer, and hoped he’d marry her one day given the chance.
The moment the news reached Luzinda, she branded Fresh Daddy a ‘Father’, and advised him to not request for something he can’t handle.
“Please Daddy leave the ‘Kitone’ issues alone because they will break you for nothing my father,” she said.
However, during an interview with Spark Tv on Thursday, Fresh Daddy claimed that his statement was misinterpreted and that he only loves Luzinda as a musician, not with the intentions of marrying her.
“I love Luzinda as an artiste who sings good music, and her ‘Kitone’ scandal made me love her even more. I know getting close to her might be a difficult, but I would wish to work on a project with her. I don’t want to marry her, but just to meet her as my fellow celebrity. I can only say she in class,” the one hit wonder noted.
The former manicurist joined the music industry recently, but apparently his one verse song ‘Mazike’ has made his one of the most talked about ‘celebrities’ in the industry. The singer is currently working under Bad Character records, a music label owned by another struggling singer Kalifah Aganaga.
