‘Philanthropist’ Brian Kirumira famously known as Bryan White has been dragged to court after failing to a pay a debt of Shs135 million.
Bryan white was sued by businessman Majanja Kirumira of Kireka based Majanja and Sons Enterprises. Majanja claims that in 2018, he supplied the mysterious tycoon with tents worth Shs270 million, only for him to pay half of the full amount.
The tents were used at his Bryan White Foundation offices in Kampala.
Majanja says that Bryan White promised to clear the remaining balance within three months from the time of purchase but up to date he has never received a single penny.
The businessman further narrates that since then, whenever he calls the city tycoon to demand for his money, “He just issues threats to harm me, even death threats.”
On the other hand, Bryan White says he can’t pay Majanja the balance because he supplied him with very poor quality tents that began tearing after three days of use.
Meanwhile, the case has been assigned to Justice Anna Bitature Mugenyi of the High Court-Commercial division.
