“Hey @JChameleone, how did you come up with the name 'DNA Lounge'? Was it by ripping off a world famous night club that has been called that for 33 years?” DNA Lounge tweeted.

Leone Island CEO, Jose Chameleone has been accused by an American based night hangout for stealing their club name.

Last year after his Legend Saba Saba Concert, Chameleone opened a new club dubbed ‘DNA Lounge’. It is located along Acacia Avenue. Now some American club is claiming that this Mateeka singer is building on their lLegacy to promote the Ugandan one.

“Hey @JChameleone, how did you come up with the name ‘DNA Lounge’? Was it by ripping off a world famous night club that has been called that for 33 years?” DNA Lounge tweeted.

DNA Lounge has been one of San Francisco’s most reputable and popular nightclubs for over 33 years, hosting an always-eclectic variety of events, including all-ages live music. 18+ dance parties, burlesque shows, lecture series and private parties.

However, Chameleone replied to San Francisco’s DNA Lounge, suggesting that before they pin him for being a name thief, they should know that names exist everywhere.

“Everything in the world has a name! Even you have a name that has existed before. Did you have any suggestions? We can alter,” said Chameleone.

Currently Chameleone’s DNA Lounge is one of the most happening night hangouts in Kampala and this could be the reason for this twitter war.
