Singer Rema Namakula, has cancelled her maiden concert that was slated to take place in May, this year.
This came after the management of Hotel Africana where the concert was to take place informed Rema that Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) prohibited outside concerts due to sound pollution.
“We were informed by the hotel management that outdoor concerts were prohibited so we are contemplating holding indoor show,” said Ssalongo Kayemba, Rema’s manager.
Apparently, the singer is yet to decided whether to opt for an indoor show or call it a quit until she gets another favourable spot.
