Last November, an incident happened on Kenya’s television KTN which forced the biggest talk show name Jeff Koinange to resign and take a break from television.
A controversial politician Miguna Miguna told a female rival on air that “Esther, You are so beautiful, everyone wants to rape”. Jeff didn’t castigate Miguna for his comments, and there was public uproar over the comments. Jeff reacted by throwing his show off air.
Now, the king of television is back.
This time round on the biggest television in Kenya, Citizen TV and he will be presenting a show under his own name; Jeff Koinange Live.
The country is waiting what this is going to turn out to be. This show is on today, Wednesday at 9pm and the news is breaking the internet in Kenya.
The move to Citizen is a slap in the face of KTN which allegedly forced Jeff to resign instead of settling for an apology to the viewers.
It turns out Jeff is the winner as Citizen TV has more reach than any other television in Kenya.
