The cultural counsel of the embassy of Iran has confirmed participation in the upcoming Uganda International Cultural fair.
Also known as Ekyooto Cultural Festival, the event will run under the theme” our diverse cultures celebrating each other”.
It is being organised by Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Perfect Events and private sector partners.
In a meeting between the cultural chancellor Mr. Mohammad Sofla, and the events managers, Iran’s participation was seen as a great opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity.
The Fair will be held from 9th – 11th August 2019 at Uganda Museum.
It will be showcasing the diverse cultures of Uganda and that of the International community.
