Minister Rukutana calls his political opponents liars, threatens to sue those defacing his campaign posters

The Minister of state for Labor and industrial relations Mwesigwa Rukutana has warned his political opponents to stop using divisive language while conversing for votes in their areas of jurisdiction.

Minister Rukutana who is also the Member of Parliament for Rushenyi County in Ntungamo District noted that some politicians (his opponents) have started using subversive language aimed at tainting his name, saying they should focus on their manifesto, than his name.

“They should focus on their campaign messages and the NRM manifesto and service delivery instead of personal intrigue,” furious Rukutana said.

He also cautioned them against defacing his posters and intimidating his supporters saying that whoever will be arrested will be apprehended in the courts of law.

The minister asked the public not to listen to political liars who are just trading their political selfish interests at the expense of the people of Rushenyi County.

Rukutana will face stiff competition, among others, from former Ntungamo District women MP Naome Kabasharira.
