Latest news reaching us is events guru Balaam Barugahare is currently wooing Gagamel boss Bebe Cool into joining politics. No kidding.
This coincidentally after Jose Chameleone officially announced his intention to join the race to become the next Lord Mayor for Kampala. It is rumoured that immediately after the news filtered through, Balaam rushed to pursue ‘big size’ Bebe Cool into running for Nakawa Member of Parliament seat.
During an interview on nbs’ UnCut show, Balaam disclosed that he is currently doing all the necessary consultations with the people of Nakawa to find out their opinion on bringing Bebe Cool to Parliament.
“I want him to come for that seat, I will personally sponsor him and fight tooth and nail against anyone who will challenge him,” Balaam stated.
With this development, we shouldn’t be surprised if Bebe Cool officially announces his political ambitions and being the main ‘Muzukulu’, the Wasibukawa singer will definitely have all the support and finances required from the yellow man. As for the votes and voters, that is a discussion for another day.
However, given Balaam’s personal drive, Bebe Cool has not yet come out to give his comment.
Chameleone’s political struggle also started as a rumor, and he first denied having any political ambitions, but as time went on he made it public that his name will be appearing on the 2021 ballot paper because ‘his fans’ had requested him to do so.
When Bebe Cool confirms, he will be joining the likes of Ronald Mayinja, Dr. Hilderman, Khalifah Aganaga, Geoeofrey Lutaaya, among others who have already expressed their intention to join the parliamentary race in 2021.
