Ever since Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi joined politics in 2017, he has given many government leaning people sleepless night.
These include among others musician Bebe Cool and the self-appointed ‘Old Man of the Clan’ Andrew Mwenda.
Infact no day goes by without Mwenda posting about Kyagulanyi, or Bebe Cool trying to explain the difference between ‘Bobi Wine’ and Kyagulanyi.
News emerging from Mwenda’s world is that the two – Mwenda and Bebe – held a meeting to just discuss the musician turned politician.
“The Old Man of the Clan held a conference with his grandson, Bebe Cool, discussing how to tame his other grandson, BobiWine, who has gone rogue and is threatening to deliver fire and brimstone onto the clan,” Mwenda posted on his facebook page on Monday.
“As the chair of the elders’ council of the clan I asked the young ones to meet and resolve this problem at the level of the youth council of the clan. We the elders will wait for the outcome and see what to do next.”
On Friday, Bobi Wine hugged, shook hands and shared a table with Bebe Cool after meeting at Eddy Kenzo’s show to celebrate 10 years in music at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
Thereafter, Bobi Wine took to social media to say he had no problem with the Gagamel boss whom he has known for many years before attributing their rivalry to outside forces.
According to the Tuliyambala Engule singer, Uganda’s problems are bigger and should therefore not be reduced to the rivalry between him and the fellow musician.
“As expected, seeing me and my brother and fellow artiste Bebe Cool greet and hug after a long time excited many people. As I have been saying all along, I have no problem with Bebe Cool. He is a fellow artiste; a man I have known for many years, but above all a fellow Ugandan. The problems we face in Uganda are bigger than us. The issues which Uganda faces cannot and should not be reduced to a Bobi Wine – Bebe Cool affair! At the same time, those issues affect all of us,” Bobi Wine said on Saturday.
