On Sunday, Jennifer Musisi marked seven years as Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director.
In her Facebook post, Ms Musisi said seven years ago she started the journey to transform Kampala and it has been an arduous and yet exciting journey as she has seen the city changing, improving and beginning to climb out of its challenging history.
She wrote;
Today marks 7 years since we started the journey to transform Kampala. It has been an arduous and yet very exciting journey as we have worked and seen our City changing, improving and beginning to climb out of its challenging history.
Service delivery and confidence in the City Administration have been strengthened. We give thanks and Honour to God who has led us and helped us thus far. We thank all of you for the encouragement, the ideas and the patience as we have faltered at times in our effort to improve Kampala.
Thank you for telling us when and where we’ve not done well. But above all, thank you for making your contribution towards making Kampala a better City for all of us.
