Bobi Wine: People didn’t turnout for me, they turned out because of my ideas

As singer Bobi Wine awaits to be announced as the next Kyadondo East member of Parliament after winning by a landslide, he has delivered his first speech before being officially announced.

He said;

“I must say I ‘am speechless, the day started with reports of ballot stuffing and my agents being arrested but we are here now. After the win I don’t want to look at any negatives, I want us to come together, all that voted for me and not, lets come together for the people. People didn’t turnout for me, they turned out because of my ideas. They know me and my plight and many share my story and know what we can do together. The time is now, I have an independent mind.”
