33 bullets were recovered from Kaweesi’s bodyguard body

33 bullets were recovered from the body of Kenneth Erau who was the bodyguard of AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi.

Erau was murdered on Friday along with AIGP Kaweesi and driver Godfrey Mambewa on Friday morning a few meters from Kaweesi’s home in  Kulambiro by unknown assailants who were travelling on two boda bodas.

While speaking to mourners during Erau’s last funeral rites today in Amuria district, Internal Affairs Minister Gen. Jeje Odongo said 33 bullets were recovered from Cpl.  Erau’s body while trying to shield his boss from being shot.

It’s said he jumped from the front seat to protect Kaweesi from being hit, unfortunately all the saves proved fruitless since all the three were shot dead.
