Dear Hon Norbert Mao receive warm greetings from Odeke Bazel. Thank you so much for opening a bottle of truth which has been operating on a loose tie.

The People of Uganda have been contemplating and contesting whether a day would come when you would transfer your capital from Muscat to Zanzibar in broad daylight because to them all signs and grounds had been made clear for your vivid and truthful confession.

Churchill once said: ‘A lie gets halfway around the world before truth puts on its boots’ . So Ugandans needed that clear testimony from you that would move them out of fantasy in regard to your political stamina and ambition as far as Politics of this country is concerned

Your action on the loose selfish agreement reminds me of a parable of the Prodigal son that I am pretty sure you know because you have been found of quoting texts from the Bible. Thank you for deciding to go back to the “Father” as well as going back where your heart holds a deep ground and finds happiness. In other words it’s not good to dress on Black when actually you want to be described to had put on Green, the lines must be clear.

Perhaps you were trying to stand against neutrality which Bishop Desmond Tutu(RIP) criticized when he remarkably said “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor”.

In other words If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality so it’s better to justify the ground your standing on, which you have done clearly in disguise of cooperation.

Should we say they have outwitted you? or your just tired of hypocrisy or it’s out of what Jim Henson said “If you can’t beat them. Join them”.

I know you’re going to be in different platforms here and there explaining how important agreement is as far as Politics of this country is concerned. Your Senior comrade has already notably put it clear on His twitter handle. All what you will be doing is to explain deeper and coil yourself to be a foresighted person in this country like you have always done, Surely Hon Mao!

Ofcourse, your apparently in cloud nine with an illusion that your the only strong opposition Leader in this country because they have dressed you in wedding costumes where you only think of cutting the cake in the next minute. Ideally how would you marry your daughter to a man who took your piece of land in the name reconciliation and cooperation!

Hon Mao what’s wrong is wrong and nothing will ever make it right, your other comrades are in pursuit of what’s good for country men and women and your here and there blindfolded in agreements that aim to silence and suppress the ideologies of DP as a party and the country at large. It’s ideally bad to be self centered!

What’s left for the die hards of the party when you have chosen to throw their ideas in political dustbins as you continue to chase for your selfish desires. Do you know how many people have been following you as a “democrat” anyway? Do you know how many Youth out there who have been looking up to you as part of the political gurus in this country? What then have you offered to them if not betrayal?

The Democratic Party has stayed the test of time but see how you have chosen to pay back the founders of the party, through cooperation on grounds which are not labeled?

Nelson Mandela (RIP) once said Only free men can negotiate; prisoners cannot enter into contracts. Your freedom and mine cannot be separated. It’s therefore apparent that you are more self centered than the ideologies of the party and the interests of the common people. You have chosen to dismantle and create a bad precedent as far as opposition political parties are concerned. Did you even understand the importance of political parties anyway?

You have decided to act as a breaking point to what DP and other Parties are striving for, you might have felt sorted but you have chosen a devastating option that will leave souls bleeding, the oppressed oppressed and unemployed unemployed because you will be speaking the same language.

I know your mature enough to take decisions according to your ego. Well, but your using a wrong avenue. Literally it’s better to relinquish DP officially(Party President) such that your deeply rewarded with a “fatty meal” other than continuing to step on the disgruntled Nationals with words of consolation and hypocrisy. There’s a popular saying that show me your friends and I will tell you who you are, ofcourse we affirmatively now know you.

Ugandans in the struggle will remember this and they will write about this hopefully it will be worthy reading even to your grand sons and daughters, the people of your region and your tribe mates.

However, a midst the struggle I am convinced such scenarios are bound to happen most especially in what Darwin termed as survival for the fittest. The call for national transformation and inclusion for all where everyone will be treated as country man and woman, where people will have equal rights and consideration will continue. In my Culture (Iteso), when one spear grass is removed from the hut, it won’t leak.

The struggle continues.
