The battle between Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago and Minister for Kampala ,Beti Kamya has taken a new twist.
Eversince the two were put into offices to manage the capital city, they have never seen eye to eye to discuss the major issues concerning the city, all they do is to criticize each other.

During the international Conference in Iran for all City Mayors in the world, Lukwago was invited together with Kamya but the two never thought of leaving their ‘chicken’ fights back home all they did was to pick an emotional fight during the conference more over in presence of the many delegates from various nations.

Watchdog has learnt that the diplomatic scandal was caused by Kamya as she tried to pose as the political head of Kampala and yet Lukwago was the one invited to talk.

According to Lukwago, the minister for Kampala has gone too far and soon Kampala Capital City Authority council will put her to order.

“Hon Bettie Kamya has gone too far. We are going to call her to order,” Lukwago said.

Recently City Councilors had vowed to oust her out of office but obviously they didn’t have the mandate to do so.
