Receiving the donation, Sheikh Sulaiman Ssekisambu, the Head Teacher of Musa Islamic Centre lauded Alam Group and Elite Protocol Services for their kind gesture of giving charity to vulnerable Muslims during the Ramadhan period.
“We thank Alam Group of Companies and the Alam family as a whole as well as Elite Protocol Services for the jointed efforts they have put up to ensure that they make this donation to us during this fasting period. I pray to the Almighty Allah to reward you abundantly. He should also bless this charity so that we get the best out of it,” overjoyed Sheikh Ssekisambu said.
“As a school we also pray to Allah that he enables other capable Muslims to also make charity to vulnerable people during this period just like how Alam Group and partners have done. We also pray that the partnership between Musa Islamic Centre and Alam Group continues to grow for the best,” he added.
On his part, Mr Sami said revealed that they decided to make the donation to honour the promise they made to Sheikh Mufti Menk of Zimbabwe.
” Alam Group and Elite Protocol Services made a promise to Mufti Menk to do more for our community in Uganda and surrounding countries. So we have begun with this initiative and we are ready to offer more support to Islamic Centres that’s why we came here,” Mr Sami who was escorted by his wife Emani Alam noted.
” We also requested for a physical tour of the school to see where we can do more, add more value so as to give these children a good and improved life. The Sheikh here has done a tremendous job by dedicating his life to the wellbeing of this school, we should all learn from him.”
Mr Sami further disclosed that Alam Group together with Elite Protocol Services have finalized plans to set up a community school in Kassanda as a way of giving back to the community.
“We want to use this school to benefit the children in that community.”
