Just days after saying that whoever attempts to destabilize Uganda will be crushed to dust, Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations Lt Gen  Muhoozi Kainerugaba has once again warned the country’s enemies that they will get a bad day in case they try to mess with the Pearl of Africa.

“I can assure whoever even thinks of messing with Uganda will get a very bad day. Long live UPDF! Long live Ugandan Special Forces!” the First Son twitted on Monday morning.

However, his message has attracted mixed reactions from Ugandans on twitter. Some are supporting him whereas others think he is just threatening them over nothing.

See some of the comments;

You’ve been watching a lot of Trump lately, afande 😃

Countries stopped fighting combart wars but rather jets and drowns. Never dare to mess with rwanda or Iran. Technology will cease all your energy men

— B.O.B (@EBobderrick) October 14, 2019

This is not what we need please. We are not foreseeing a war .Lets tackle the real issues affecting ugandans.UPDF is already too strong where it is.

— Nkore William (@WilliamNkore) October 14, 2019

Guns don’t solve conflicts, they just bring more chaos, let us learn to embrace other peaceful means

Those are our brothers and sisters nobody is interested in fighting now, what we should be looking at as a country is service delivery not war. Get time and visit our national hospitals , schools, our transport system in Kampala then u will understand why many people aren’t happy

— Akankwatsa Herbert Herbert (@AkankwatsaHerb2) October 14, 2019

Afande, we have never doubted the capabilities of the UPDF; in fact, we respect and have a lot of pride from the UPDF. What you and the leadership should be more concerned about is the the social service delivery of this country. It leaves a lot to be desired! Long Live UPDF/SFC.

Even kasirye Gwanga yesterday said it but for him he added I will kill them

— Rita Agasha. (@RitaAgasha) October 14, 2019

Gaddafi had more than that, just keep the Ugandan borders and stay away from politics.I mean far away.

— Eng. Leuben Jnr (@SiminyuL) October 14, 2019

Tell us the rank of Uganda on the world global fire ranking I think that’s how you know the strength of the Updf coz it’s seems you think Updf is the best army in the world

This is a very good message. The enemies of uganda should be worried.

— ssebunya shafique (@ssebunyashaf) October 14, 2019

No one should be allowed to play around with our hard earned peace.

— Eng. Karuru Ivan 🇺🇬 (@EngKaruru) October 14, 2019

Message is clear no body should mess with our peace n security. whoever ingnites it we shall start with his family.

— masaba vincent (@Masabavincent1) October 14, 2019

Is this message being sent to the citizens of Uganda or? Coz from the look of things, we the citizens are always treated like rebels. Any peaceful gathering and all of a sudden the army gets deployed like there’s an imminent attack from Al Shabaab ☹️
