Kabale Regional Referral Hospital (KRRH) is stuck with four unclaimed bodies in their mortuary.

Andrew Beija, the Kabale Municipality Health supervisor told Watchdog Uganda that the unclaimed bodies were of persons who were murdered while another body was retrieved from Lake Bunyonyi a week ago.

The bodies, according to Beija will be buried on Tuesday in the government cemetery at Kirengyere, along Kabale- Mbarara highway.

Kabale district recently demolished a cemetery that had existed for more than 80 years.  The cemetery located at Kikungiri, Mwanjari in southern division Kabale municipality was demolished, and the piece of land turned into a market.

Patrick Besigye Keihwa, the Kabale district LCV Chairperson speaking to the press said murder had increased in Kabale, saying the three unclaimed bodies are allegedly to have been murdered by unknown assailants.

However, he called upon people to always contact their  leaders if they had any disagreements that resorting to killing each other.
