Bridget Birungi Rwakairu, a niece to former prime minister and presidential candidate, Amama Mbabazi is set to walk down the aisle with Andile Ramophosa, a son to Cyril Ramaphosa – the president of South Africa.
Andile’s delegation led by his uncle James Motlatsi has already landed in Uganda for a traditional ceremony known as “Okushaba”, which will be held tomorrow at Plot 10 Nyonyi Gardens Kololo (Amama’s residence).
The delegation was welcomed by a number of city tycoons led by Charles Mbire one of the wealthiest indigenous Ugandans.
The couple is expected to officially wed this year.
