Residents of Namasagali village in Namasagali Subcounty, Kamuli district have started a hunt for their assistant Local Council chairman who drowned on Thursday night as he went fishing.
Its alleged that Ibrahim Bukenya went to fish in lake waters where he has been gaining his daily income for survival but to their surprise, the residents who had gone for fishing got astonished when they found his boat floating on the waters with no person in it.
Residents allege that the cause of Bukenya’s sudden death was the speedy moving wind.
By press time the residents were still in search for the late’s copse.
