The National Resistance Movement Chairperson and President, H.E Rtd. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has this Thursday summoned the party leaders in Ruhaama for an urgent meeting at his country home in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district.
Close to 100 members to attend the meeting include the party district executive committee, MPs, area district councillors, LCIII Chairpersons and all contestants in the party primaries among others.
During the meeting, the Party Chairman is expected to harmonise positions of the NRM leaning independent candidates contesting in the race against Moses Kahima Mugabe the official flag bearer of NRM.
The meeting scheduled to start shortly is also expected to be attended by Ntungamo District NRM Chairperson and First Lady, Janet Museveni.
