Francis Ekalungar, 49, an accountant at Case Clinic in Kampala has been killed and his body burnt beyond recognition.
His body was discovered in Kajansi Town a few kilometres from the city centre.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire, Ekalugar was reported missing at Wandegeya police station on 2nd January, 2018 by Case Clinic Management after failing to receive any response from him when he was sent to deposit over Shs15m to the bank.
“Ekalugar Francis an accountant at Case Clinic was reported missing on the 02/01/2018 at Wandegeya police station after his managers did not receive any response from him when he was allegedly sent to bank over 15 million shillings,” said Owoyesigire.
Apparently, police authorities have picked samples which have been taken to GAL for a DNA test to confirm the identity of the burnt body.
