On Wednesday a Memorandum of Understanding between Uganda Police and Operation Wealth Creation was signed to enable the force to fight crime.
The MoU was signed at KAPEEKA INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX which will strategically enable police effectively fight crime through addressing the pertinent issues of youth unemployment, vulnerable groups and this will go along way to change the security situation as it has vividly been seen in both Nansana Municipality and Katabi Town Council where the fight against women murders yielded results, thanks to the partnership that was piloted.
The Hon. Esther Mbayo, Minister for Presidency presided over the function.
General Salim Saleh represented OWC while Gen. Kale Kayihura represented the Uganda Police.
