Replaced Uganda Police Spokesperson AIGP Asan Kasingye is up in the air after being gifted a wall clock by colleagues as a farewell benefaction.
The wall clock is decorated with Kasingye’s photo inside.
The officer who couldn’t hide his excitement tweeted thanking fellow officers for the wonderful gift.
“Staff. What a gift! Indeed only time will tell. Thank you and may God bless you,” he tweeted.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) General Kale Kayihura replaced Kasingye with Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima as Spokesperson on Tuesday after spending barely nine months at the realm.
Kasingye took over the position of spokesman in the aftermath of Andrew Felix Kaweesi’s murder in March.
