Vipers sports club have added Edward Ssali and Eddie Kaweesa to their first team coaching staff.
The pair, both Caf C license holders was introduced to the team yesterday before the training session.
Vipers club president Lawrence Mulindwa stated at their unveiling,’ we are glad to add Ssali Edward and Eddie Kaweesa to our family. They will be working with Miguel Da Costa and Edward Golola starting immediately.’
Ssali will be the physical and fitness coach and Kaweesa will be the goal keeping coach and will be working hand in hand with head Coach Jorge Miguel Da Costa and his assistant Edward Golola next season.
Edward Ssali whose face is not new to the team played for Vipers for ten years and retired in 2015 to pursue a coaching career was excited to be back home.
‘ It’s a great feeling to be back here, I am here to work and help the club succeed,’ he said.
Kaweesa who also played for Vipers then Bunamwaya as a goal keeper spent the previous season at Onduparaka FC as their goal keeping tactician.
