The case in which Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries in which he is accused of burning hundreds of Bibles has continued to intensify after rival Pentecostal Bishops Dr.Joseph Sserwadda and David Kiganda revealing that they are going to testify against him in Court.
Apart from the two bishops, other pastors including David Martin Sebuguzi, Ronald Mukiibi, Stephen Kaberuka, and Joshua Murefu have also showed interest in testifying against the controversial pastor in a case which is already at Nabweru Magistrates Court.
In April this year, former Ddembe Presenter Aloysius Matovu Kiiza and his colleague Francis Jemba (both born-again Christians) through their lawyers Wamell and Co. Advocates filed a case accusing the pastor of “insulting religion and wounding Religious feelings” when he burnt hundreds of Bibles at his church in Makerere Kikoni.
