Former Presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye has finally revealed the candidate he is going to support in the forthcoming Kyadondo East parliamentary by-election.

While appearing on NBS TV’ Topical Discussion show, Besigye said he will be supporting FDC’s Apollo Kantinti leaving his close ally  Bobi Wine hanging in the middle of nowhere.

Though the four time presidential candidate will not support the self proclaimed ghetto president, he has termed him as a good candidate who is also good to be voted for.

“I am in FDC and will definitely support the FDC candidate, this issue of negative government propaganda alleging that I am dividing up the opposition due to Bobi wine and Apollo is aimed at promoting a dictatorship regime,” Besigye said.

Last month,Court of Appeal upheld High Court’s decision of nullifying Kantinti’s election thus ruling against him in an election appeal of Kyadondo Parliamentary seat. The justices ruled that after a careful re-evaluation of the evidence on record, they came to a conclusion that it was not clear on who won the Kyadondo East constituency election since results from 9 polling stations were not included in the final tally thus declaring the seat vacant.
