Today students leaders from various institutions of higher learning have meet with the Inspector General of Police(IGP) Gen. Kale Kayihura and some other government officials including ministers.
The National Leadership Conference of Student Leaders of Higher Institution of Learning was organized by the National Crime Preventers Forum at Makerere University.
Gen Kayihura was among the keynote speakers who discussed about the need to fight youth unemployment in the country.
Other speakers included State Minister for the youth Florence Kiyingi, State Minister for Microfinance Kyeyune Kasolo, State Minister for Luwero Triangle Galabuzi Dennis Ssozi and Ruth Biyinzika Musoke from skills Development facility Private Sector Foundation.
The student leaders led by their guild presidents lauded the speakers and showed Gen. Kayihura with gifts appreciating his work in safeguarding the security of the nation.
