The drama sorrounding the former boss of Kampala Central Police Station Aaron Baguma’s appearance in court as expected has taken another twist as the dude has failed to show up due to illness.
Baguma who turned himself in on Tuesday was remanded to Kigo prison over his role in the murder of a woman by car dealers. Baguma had dodged appearance in court in a move that risked giving police a bad name. Public opinion believed Baguma was deliberately protected by the police.
Baguma was due to appear before a magistrate at Buganda Road but prison authorities say the suspect is ill.
Tired of Baguma drama, court has however issued a production warrant for the suspect and adjourned to September 6.
